I’m not very techy. Is this really for me?
Yes, it’s exactly who we’re for. If you can use email and a web browser, you can do everything we teach. We explain every step and never assume you already know something.
What is AI, in one sentence?
The kind we teach, like Claude and ChatGPT, is a very capable writing and thinking assistant you talk to in ordinary language, a bit like messaging a knowledgeable helper.
Should I use Claude or ChatGPT?
Both are excellent and both have free versions. ChatGPT is the best known and has the widest range of features. Claude is known for clear, careful writing and working with long documents. Our guide “Claude or ChatGPT?” helps you choose, and our courses cover both.
Do I need to pay for an AI subscription?
No. Everything we teach works with the free versions. Paid plans (usually around £16–£20 a month) give you more use and extra features. We’ll help you decide whether it’s worth it for you.
Is it safe to use AI?
It’s as safe as most online services if you use it sensibly. We teach you what not to share, which privacy settings to switch on, and how to check what it tells you. Safety is part of every course.
Are you connected to OpenAI or Anthropic?
No. Dead Easy AI is completely independent. That means we can give you honest advice about both.
What’s a Course Pack?
A small file that comes with our courses. You add it to Claude or ChatGPT (we show you how, and it takes two minutes), and your AI becomes your personal tutor for that course.
What’s the Setup Pack?
A small file you give to ChatGPT or Claude. Your AI then asks you a few friendly questions and sets itself up around you: privacy settings, personal instructions, Projects, a prompt library and a 14-day plan. It takes about an hour, at your pace.
Can I buy it for someone else?
Yes, and a Setup Pack or the course makes a lovely gift for a parent or relative. Get in touch and we’ll arrange a gift voucher.
Do you have anything for businesses?
Yes. The Business Setup Pack interviews you about your business and builds your AI toolkit around it: a business Project, prompt templates, a staff AI policy and a 30-day plan.
